pro-active? I always break out before my monthly cycle and I wanted to see if maybe this would prevent it from happening. Plus my oldest daughter is at the age where she might start breaking out. So has anyone used this or know anyone that as has?

I've never used it, but I was with a friend on a study abroad in NZ when she ran out. Her skin looked terrible when she ran out, when it was perfectly clear before. That was proof enough for me!

A friend of mine used it when we were in high school so that she would have clear skin for grad. She absolutely loved it, though she doesn't use it anymore since we're adults now and her skin doesn't break out as often. Based on what she said and how it worked for her, I'd say go for it.

It's a little pricey and they automatically send you a set every two months and put it on your credit card. I think I paid $58 for a two months supply.

I use AcneFree which is sold in local stores. it's reported to be similare to ProActive. I like it and notice a differance.

Go to Walgreens and get the generic version. Much Cheapier and works just as well!! I have sensitive sking so I have to be careful. It does make your skin recact differently then it normally does. But it is well worth it but I would get the generic it is half the price!

"Acne Free" is the generic I use. There are 1 or 2 new generics out now.

Wow, that was rude. First of all, typing in all capitals is yelling, so that's one strike. Strike two, for someone who's a mom you're being really childish. And strike three, as Mary said, don't take out your frustrations with someone else on the board as a whole. None of the women in this thread have done anything to do that warrants you telling them they should buy it so they don't look like a pizza face.
