Brazilian Bikini wax!

Question
I really want to get a Brazilian wax ready for the wedding night, but I'm not sure how to find out who in my area will do that. Does anyone know of a website or something that I can look at? I tried searching the web, but couldn't find what I was looking for. And, if anyone has had this done, how bad (truthfully) does it hurrrt???

I normally shave ... but I decided to get waxed for a beach holiday away. All I can say is OUUUUUUUUUUCHHHH!!!!!!! I honestly thought I must have been bleeding.

To be fair, a number of ladies in my office get brazillian waxes regularly and they tell me that it gets less painful everytime they go. Ummmmm, this is one lady that will never find out if that is the truth or not.

Just call me Zorro!

Answer
Don't do it for the first time before your honeymoon. It is highly likely your skin will get upset and red, and it's possible you'll have a reaction to it that will make your skin break out. If you're going to do it, go a few times before your honeymoon, and make sure you get it done a few days before your honeymoon as well so that it will have time to settle down if your skin does react.
It hurts like a b*tch, just to warn you.

the things we do for the opposite sex.

i'm going to stick w/ shaving for the wedding night, but i'm splurging on some nice bath oils and such to make my skin oh so smoooooth.

Answer
Ok, girls, I think you have convinced me not to get it done So, are there any other hair removal methods that will get the smoothness that waxing does? I just don't think I can afford to get the brazilian several times before the wedding and I don't want to go through the pain multiple times. I may have done it once, but I don't think I would do it again! Ok, any other suggestions???
THanks.

Answer
I've gotten a brazilian done before, and yes it hurts, but only for like 2 seconds and it goes away. Both times i got it done, it took no more than 15 minutes!

I'll put it to you this way, I'd rather get a brazilian than go to the dentist. If your skin is not sensitive, you wont be too red or anything and you'll love the "clean" feeling of it. I'd say just give it a try, its not that bad.

Answer
I've only done it once, and really it didn't hurt much at all. Of course it hurts like if you were getting your eyebrows done, except down there. So if getting your eyebrows or legs hurts you a lot, don't do it. I thought it was definitely worth it though, and so did FH.

Haha, nope, I do it for me actually. I don't like the look of going au naturel.

me too. I was curious, tried it, and liked how it felt. It was just a side bonus that Casey liked it too.

Answer
Ya my Ex's reaction was priceless and made it more worthwhile

Answer
My friend gets it done once a month. She swears it doesn't hurt that much, but she still hasn't been able to convince me to do it. I'm a wuss!!!

Answer
I cannot imagine purposefully having no hair whatsoever in that area. IMO, it would make me look pre-pubescent, like my eight-year-old daughter.

I don't get everything removed because that kinda creeps me out too. Plus it would hurt like hell. For some reason the top of the bikini line hurts worse than everything else, at least to me. What I do is basically anything that would show if I were wearing a thong goes. The rest stays.

Answer
After teh first time, the hair grows back so much softer and thinner that it nearly never hurts any time after that. Everyone always gets scared away after the first time though. I love it!

Answer
I would also say don't do the brizillian wax for the first time before your wedding, at least do it a few times. And as I have experienced, it really does hurt less and less eventually. I'm not sure if its just me but I also find that the hair is growwing back less and less everytime I go! Just my 2 cents.

Answer
I did find some great information on hair removal if you wanted to have a look. Here is one site i found to be pretty good http://www.yourskin101.com/unwanted-hair/

As a brazilain wax survivor....LOL

If you leave the "landing strip" it's not too bad. If you have the "bald eagle", now THAT hurts. I find that little area to be the most fragile and tender and that always brings tears to my eyes!

Answer
This is Chris...I like the bald eagle....LOL

Answer
