Airbourne Pills

Question
Have any of you tried this? Does it really work?

Answer
When you say Pills, are you talking about the effervescent tablets that you drop into water and then drink? If that's it, then yes, we swear by them in our household. I even got my parents hooked on them. I hear Emergen-C is really good too for getting rid of colds and sickness.

Answer
I have taken them. They work pretty good. THey don't taste too bad either.

Answer
Isn't that the stuff the school teacher invented?

Answer
Yes. She's a genious! I just wish I could've taken it during pregnancy, but they don't recommend it as it's never been tested on pregnant women.

Answer
Yup, thats exactly what i'm talking about. I'm starting to get the hint for a cold so i wanted to see if this will work.

Answer
not to hijack but..... the emergen-c works? I dont know about drinking the tablets in water... alka seltzer grosses me out.

Answer
yeah, alka seltzer grosses me out too, but this does actually taste pretty good.

Answer
I have no idea what alka seltzer tastes like but i took one of the airbornes today, it wasnt that bad. Had a vitamin-y taste to it but thank go there was NO after taste. I'd rather drink something like this for afew seconds than be sick w/a cold for 5 days. I hope it works

Answer
I agree, it really works. Tried it few times already and I coudn't complain, really.

Shaks, keep in mind you can take it a couple or few times in one day. It'll really work better if you take more.

Answer
I've started using Zicam after my trip and it seems to have stayed off two colds so far. You let it dissolve on your tongue, so you can carry it around and take it anywhere (also multiple times a day). However, you can't eat or drink within 15 minutes after taking it, which for me is a pain 'cause I drink water constantly.

I also used Airborne for my trip (9 hours on the plane) - we didn't get sick, so I guess it worked. Both are just immune system boosters. If you read the labels on the bottles (not the boxes) carefully, you'll see that they don't really say anywhere "what" they are (other than ingredients) or what they do, so there's no guarantee.

I think a good part of any of those pills is psychological, but the extra vitamins can't hurt, right??
