Mascara for very very sensitive eyes
Question
I am looking for a mascara for sensitive eyes. I have tried several which say they are safe but always my eyes turn red and I have to wash off the mascara. Please note, I live in Canada and find that many cosmetics which are available are only in the US. The color I would is black. Thanks for any input Answer If your eyes are turing red, it sounds like an allergic reaction...Which ones' have you tried? Did you just choose these mascara's on your own or have you asked a cosmetician for advice? I live in Canada too! I'm in Ontario... I will have to get back to you on that, but sometimes you have to try different ones' to see what works for you because everyone is different..I know some products used to make my eyes water.. franny Answer I use Almay mascara...I have tried many different brands and it works well for me. If I had no kids what would I do for aggravation? Answer Have you tried Max Factor? One other question.....are you using waterproof masacara? Spa Movement ...innovative, mobile, beauty indulgences....join the movement! Answer I haven't tried Max Factor...I don't use waterproof either. Does it make a difference? If I had no kids what would I do for aggravation? Answer Waterproof mascara contains tar in it, that's what makes it waterproof, that's what can make someone's eyes dry or itchy, puffy and swollen. And if you wear it everyday, it takes a real hard toll on your eyes not to mention that over time, you will have no eyelashes. Ooops! Spa Movement ...innovative, mobile, beauty indulgences....join the movement! Answer I have short, stubby eyelashes and I have used waterproof in the past but it seems like my eyelashes looked like a big clump when I used waterproof. Plus the waterproof mascara remover wasn't really gentle either! If I had no kids what would I do for aggravation? Answer Waterproof mascara has tar in it?! Yuk, obviously ignornance is bliss. I agree with conniem, I find waterproof mascara is usually thicker and looks all clumpy. Personally, I use Wet 'n Wild protein mascara. I've used it since I was young and didn't have much money for makeup. I find it works just as well as some of the more expensive brands so I've stuck with it. I think they do make a waterproof variety, but since it's cheaper I'm not sure how good it is for sensitive eyes. Answer Good, I'm glad to hear that you're not wearing waterproof! Have you tried L'Oreal? Or Clinque? Spa Movement ...innovative, mobile, beauty indulgences....join the movement! |
