The shag style looks neat! Very easy to care for, which I like. I suppose that's why the Meg Ryan styles are so popular, no complicated care. Just towel and go
Speaking of Meg Ryan, I think I mentioned before that I've always wanted to try being a blonde. I was always very jealous of my younger sister who was blonde. I have hesitated before because my hair was so long and it would take an eternity to grow out again. But now that it's short, maybe I should try it!
I worry though that my coloring doesn't work well with blonde hair. Judging by my other photos, is there any shade of blonde that might be reasonably well with the rest of me? What do I do about my dark eyebrows?

A good place to start is with a highlight in a beige blond shade. Not too cool toned.(silver or grayish-too much contrast)
For your eyebrows; you can trim them to make them look lighter without haveing to try to color them. I use a comb with fine teeth and slide the teeth thru the eyebrow hairs and then trim the hair that sticks up on top of the comb. Having them shaped to a slightly narrower look will help too.
If you highlight, the natural hair in between the light will blend in your darker brows.

OK, I found a hair salon nearby and sent them that note. I have one in my small town that I used for the "chop" but I don't know that I trust them for coloring. We'll see if I can do this in the next few weeks, I'll post a photo when I do

If a client wants a style that doesn't suit them, it is the stylist's responsibilty to tell them and to tell them why. In the end, you do what the client wants. It is also the stylist's responsibilty to explain how to style the hair. I always do easy-care styles unless I know the client loves to work on their hair. It doesn't do my reputation any good to give a client a style they can't handle. :rolleyes:
