I feel silly asking, but I know the strand test will show color, but, will it show if hair will damage or break?
Answer
An experienced hairdresser can test the elasticity of the hair by stretching it. You can tell if it will break or if it very brittle.
I suggest some strong protein treatments ( see although I don't know it that will be enough to make it safe to use hair color on.
