I've heard of deep conditioning hair by covering by a shower cap and letting it sit. How long do you do this? What kind of conditioner should you use?

The shower cap keeps the warmth in so that the conditioner penetrates. About 10 - 15 minutes works well. If you feel like you need more conditioning, rinse it off, towel dry and reapply the conditioner, rather than leaving it on longer.
