moving to hotter climate
Question
I'm moving to Florida from KY in July and can't decide whether to cut my hair short or try some kind of up-do. Any ideas for good office hair in the heat? Answer Why not try an updo until you see what your hair will do in that climate. You can always cut it later. Where, in Florida, are you moving? Answer To Jupiter, but I'll be looking for a job right away, so I'm worried about looking professional. Answer angel, we moved to Arizona from Colorado last year and I was worried about just the same kind of thing... What I did was leave my hair exactly the way it was and then took a look at the way women around me were wearing their hair and wore mine the same way.... Worked for me...the best I found for beating the heat was a smooth, slick pony tail with a side part tied low on my head...my hair is longer than the picture and has more highlights now.... Another good look is a cute little bundle (you know hair rolled around the ponytail holder, not quite a bun, but not all over sticking up and out either) with some kicky little bangs swept off to one side... Florida is very trendy so I would incorporate some more trendy styles...Phoenix is the same way. I prefer trendy with classic mixed together...lol... Or you could go with a blunt cut evenly around hitting at the nape of your neck...with a little swing and bounce...that's what I'm considering now...long enough to be pulled back but short enough that it won't weigh you down in the summer heat. Just a few suggestions...:) JESUS DOESN'T HOLD UP A STANDARD, HE HOLDS UP A MIRROR AND SAYS REFLECT ME! Jenna Robinson Answer Thanks for the suggestions! I feel better just going over the options- |
