I'm just looking for some advice..
Question
I have thick, coarse, medium length hair. Here's a picture of me. You see how I have that indention in my hair? It's ALWAYS THERE. I thought it was maybe because my hair was sitting on my shoulders, so I got my hair cut shorter. Now it's just closer to the end and makes the end poof out. Actually, my whole hair poofs out. I've tried different kinds of frizz-ease type products, but nothing seems to work. I've tried using a straightener, but it takes WAY too long to straighten my THICK hair! javascript:void(0) Are there any products that you'd recommend that might actually work, or any tips on how to get my hair to straighten out? Answer Hi, You have a beautiful baby. You were right to get your hair cut, because often it will wave because it hits the shoulders. To get your hair to hang really straight you will have to use smoothing products and a flat iron. It does take work. Styles are going toward letting the natural wave show, so maybe you can just let it be? Answer I agree with Dr. L. You need styling products and a flat iron. You might even try a round brush so that you can give your hair some direction and control. If you want it all to curl under, blow it dry that way. If you want a flip, dry it that way. But if you just want it pin straight, get a flat iron. But like Dr. L said, it does take work. Good luck. |
