Flattering Hairstyle - Help!

Question

**Edit:
Actually I just went ahead and did it without seeing some of the replies here- and I used Hilary Duff's look, but..
It's a big difference- still not sure if I like it. But hey- I'll get used to it & it will grow back
Thanx for the input!

Answer
I think bangs would be great - not too long if you want your eyes to look bigger.
You didn't say anything about the length but anywhere between shoulder and chin would look good. It would take off the weight and allow for more fullness at the sides, making your face appear fuller.

Answer
LOL, if I looked like that, I wouldn't mind putting my picture up for all to see either!
Dr. L, I know everyone is asking this, but can you do one more? Since I'm getting ready to go into surgery next week for my gastric bypass, I was thinking of chopping my hair off fairly short to make it easy to get under the cap, and easy to take care of after the surgery.

Here's 3 different headshots: 1 with my hair up, 1 with a medium cut, and one I had my husband just take wherre I pulled all my hair back ( I also have no make-up on and a am taking pain pills for my broken foot - so I'm REAL lovely, LOL)
Any suggestions?
Ack! I just looked at those pictures. I am a walking advertisement for the wonders of make-up!

Answer
Hi Michelle
This is quick because I'm supposed to be getting ready for work
It looks like you have curly hair so how about layering it short and wearing it curly? You would have to use curl products to control fizz but it would be really easy to take care of after surgery. I'm thinking a little more fullness on top and softness at the sides and back.
(I like the short bob except I would like to see the top fuller instead of the bottom.
Does that make sense? I'll be back on the computer tonight or tomorrow.

Answer
Makes perfect sense. That was the thing about cutting it short last time, it made my face look so wide (and it doesn't need any more help in that department, Thank you!, LOL)
I was worried that cutting it closer to my face would make it even more apparent how full my face is. But then, that's what the surgery's for!
( and putting on makeup wouldn't hurt either! )

Answer
Hi Hil,
How about keeping those great side bangs and layering them so it's really short into your part? If you're thinking of a total new style, long layers would look great.

Answer
By looking at your face structure, I would go for maybe a look like Hilary Duff.
By creating bangs and layering the back her hair looks fuller and really shapes her face nicely. Goodluck!!
