In the begining of this month I wanted to get blond highlights, my hair is naturally dirty blond. So went to the store and got a highliting kit- it came out very brassy and chuncky, so i thought to fix it i could add more highlights with a different type of kit, but it just made it worse. so i dyed my whole head a golden brown and it made my hair orange, so i dyed it again and darker brown and it came out a dark brownish red and thats what i have now. i did all of that in about 3days. i hate the color and it is fading everyday. so my question is, is it safe to go and get my hair professionally highlighted after all that dying/highlighting??

I would go to the hairdresser and tell them exactly what you did and what you want and ask if they can do anything. The hairdresser will be able to look at your hair and be able to judge how strong it is.

The best person to answer this question will be a professional. You can usually talk to them over the phone, but they would prefer to see what they would be working with. Store bought permanent color contains metallics that will change the result of salon color, so be sure to tell them what you used so they can make the right decisions.
Also, be careful of the color you buy in the future. Here's a list of what the colors basically mean:
Golden = Red tint of the color
Ash = Grey tint of the color (one of the safe routes)
Dark = Pure dark shades
If you have any hint of natural red in your hair, it will show up when coloring because of the peroxide or other lightening agent. If you find you get red results with box color, you can buy a box of Ash (medium or dark) to help neutralize the orange. Also, find a blue shampoo and conditioner. Aveda makes one called Blue Malva that's great for blondes. I think Paul Mitchell makes one too, and a few others, but I don't know their names. The indigo tint in it works with the reds and will tone them down.
You can call Clairol too. They can walk you through an at home fix. Just be sure to test the strength of your hair with a signifigant strand test. If you notice the strand test to start appearing elastic...it will stretch like a rubberband...stop what you're doing and call a salon.

I think you need professional in hair care
but for me I think all this highlights are chemical and it may hurt your hair so I sugest you to wait for awhile then you can start again to get color you wanted
