Question
Anyone else use John Frieda Radiant Red?
Answer
Apparently this isn't a popular one....
Anyway, I've gone back to Matrix's Logics Color Reserve System. Seems to be working better.
Answer
Any updates on the John Frieda Radiant Red? I started using it again. I wanted to know what others thought about it. Thanks.
Answer
I like the products well enough. I have really long hair and the conditioner is good enough that I don't have much trouble getting the tangles out afterwards. I'm not really convinced that they do much of anything to prolong color or shine, however. I've been told that red is a difficult color to keep from fading, anyway, so I've always been willing to try things to make the color last longer.
The red daily color sealer (I think that's what it's called, it's the stuff you're supposed to use and leave in after washing) does nothing at all as far as I can tell. I've tried using it every day after getting my hair freshly colored and I've tried not using it at all. There was no difference in how long the color stayed fresh.
So to sum up, the shampoo and conditioner are nice products to use just for shampooing and conditioning, but don't work any miracles as far as maintaing hair color, at least in my experience.
Answer
Hey, thanks for the response! Do you find that the shampoo and conditioner moisturize like they 'say' they're supposed to? My hair is dry, so I need moisture. Also, did you find that it faded your color at all? I've also heard that red fades the fastest, so I don't want something that's going to fade it even more. I'm presuming you have red hair as well?
