Question
I am getting ready to add Spironolactone back to my daily medications. I just had a few quick questions.
1. Has anyone noticed reduced hair growth on their arms?
2. Has anyone noticed reduced hair growth on their head? (My hair grows so slow I am worried I will go bald if it stops to much! )
Thank you for any input.

Answer
Hi, I just wanted to say that it's a very good idea to research the drug on a medical website/pharmaceutical site, to review any possible adverse reactions, drug interaction etc. I have used Spironolactone, prescribed by my doctor for assistance in helping with excessive facial hair. Unbeknownst to me, this drug has the capacity to enlarge your breasts...I underwent breast reduction surgery 2 years ago, and now, I feel I need the surgery again! Had I known the drug would increase breast size, I may not have taken it. It can also be very hard on your kidneys..be careful..A safer and easier method may be laser..In the long run, the money spent will be a savings on the health and wear and tear of your organs..I am having my first laser treatment in 3 weeks (best to wait, because I plucked) as well as shaved. My treatments will cost $100.00 per session, at a very reputable clinic. Good Luck
