laser hair removal versus intense pulse light

Question
I have a client who is opening a prestigous day spa in the Middle East.
They wish to incorporate hair removal into their day spa.
The client type is skin 5 Middle Eastern.
They want the top of the range system. Other competitors use the old Gentlelase system. We are looking at the New Gentlelase system.
Other facilities use intense pulse light.
Bearing in mind efficiency, safety, results achieved, climate in Middle East - very hot etc, which system would you recommend to incorporate into the day spa. We want the top end of what is available with proven track record.

Answer
I'm of middle eastern descent and did 3 treatments with IPL. Very, very painful and it didn't reduce the hair at all. Now booking my 2nd Lightsheer treatment, it's worked for friend with similar skin/hair types. The lightsheer was much more comfortable and much faster. Bikini and underarm treatment took about 7-10 minutes versus over 45 for the IPL (Epilight).

Answer
I must disagree with the previous reply. I am a male of middle eastern background, and have tried both the lightsheer diode and the palomar estelux (spelling?) IPL and found the latter (IPL) to be way way less painful. I of medium darkness (can go pretty light in winter, but quite dark in summer) for a middle eastern, and find that the IPL hurts way less when I stay out of the sun.
As for long term results, not sure which is better. Have one more IPL treatment to go (had 7 to date), but you really need to wait many months post final treatment to see I suppose!
