Not to mention I just spent the last two hours reading the posts. I feel like I've found my people.
Anyway - I'm totally new to LHR - I've been thinking about it for about two years now and I'm ready to start getting consultations.
I am interested in bikini LHR - not a full brazilian - just what a thong would show. So my question is do you WEAR a thong to act as a guideline? Or is one, um, nekkid?
I could also use some reassurance that I won't be the oldest, hairiest middleaged person to have this done.

women of all ages do this. as long as the hair is dark and the skin is light, you'll be fine. I did everything around a thong and wore a thong during all of my treatments. when i decided to zap the perianal area and take a bit more off the sides, i just moved the thong around during the treatment. at another clinic where i had just one treatment, i had to remove all underwear. so it depends. it's up to you about what you feel comfortable about, but they do this all day every day, so it's not an issue usually whatever you decide to do.

A thong is fine. Some practices provide you with a disposable thong/bikini. Just make sure the thong is a light color. A dark thong will burn if inadvertently hit with the laser.
