Question
Hello,
I read the faq and determined that my skin type is II. I have a LOT of peach fuzz ALL OVER my face and want to get rid of it. My concern is over something that I have been told by the lady did my permanent makeup on my eyebrows. She said that if the technician is not careful while doing the hair removal that the permanent makeup could turn black! At this point I really do not have ANY hair for eyebrows.....long story short is that I had electrolysis many years ago and since then did something stupid.....I tried to trim them using a beard and mustache trimmer. It basically ripped ALL the hair out and now they won't grow completely back. So I got permanent makeup and wax the entire eyebrow, so if they turned black that would be a BAD thing! Has anyone heard this?
I would like to know if anyone could give me a recommendation on the best type of laser for me and any information on what to watch out for when permanent makeup is a concern. Thanks!

Answer
Absolutely don't do laser on any area that has permanent makeup. You can however do electrolysis on it.
Answer
and do NOT do any laser on any peach fuzz. it can only make it worse
Answer
OK that is what I thought about the permanent makeup.....I am used to doing the waxing in that area, so I will do that until I decide to do electrolysis.
Since you don't recommend laser for peach fuzz are there any other options for permanent hair removal? I know that I can do electrolysis, but I was hoping that there might be options that wouldn't require me to go for years on end before I saw results.
Answer
electrolysis is the only other permanent option and it doesn't take years unless maybe you're treated by someone who doesnt know what they're doing or don't go on schedule as you should. if you're on schedule, it shouldn't take more than 9-12 months for most.
