Question
Hi
I am doing upper lip, chin and my roseace face treatmen.
The treatment is going to cost me 280 (for the 3 of them), and they told me that for the upper lip and chin I will need only 6 treatments, after that the price will drop to 190 because it will be only the reseace face. Is this a good price?
And my other question is this: I have not asked the doctor how much joules he uses or anything similar, I just get there and he spent around 10 minutes doing th elaser thing. After that I have to put some hypercortison in y face during 3 days. Is this ok?
And other question, abot the joules, I copy the following information from the laser machine, is this correct , too ligth or too strong?
180J/cm2 3.00 mm. 25m$.--/
Thanks for all your help
Carolina
Ps. I am mexican if you are wondering the color of my skin, I think that has to do also witht his joules thing rigth?

Answer
sounds like you're treated at 18 joules. what is the name of the specific laser machines. settings are different for various machines. hard to tell without knowing that detail. in general, look up the Fitzpatrick chart as well and see what your skin type is. I would think if you're mexican, it's about type IV or even V, which means diode or Yag laser needs to be used. That brings another question: what is the texture and color of your hair? On a woman's face, you should generally only treat hair that's very coarse and dark.

Hi
thanks for your answer. My hair is brown and my texture is ...I don't know, natural ? I always buy my makeup in natural color, i hope I am answering correctly. (My english is not really good)
Anyway, the thing is that I am doing the laser thing because I hate to wax my upper lip and my chin, and the color of my mustache is brown kind of black but it is thick.
I will check inmy next appoitment the information for the machine. Also, I have had 2 appoitments already, each one has been 2 weeks apart, is this ok?
By the way, my doctor gives life warranty in the hair laser thing. After the appoitments he had schedule, if I get hair again that will be for free.
Thanks
Answer
look up the Fitzpatrick skin chart online to determine your skin type and let us know what you think it is.
2 weeks is WAY too often for treatments. After treatment, it takes 2-3 weeks for treated hair to fall out. Then you should have a hairfree period. And then you get another treatment when you see new hair coming in, which is usually 6-8 weeks post treatment.
