Answer
you can, but it's not advisable for BEST FASTEST results. hair is most easily killed in first stage of growth which lasts a few weeks. after 4 months, most of the hair that you had in that stage would have become dormant and can't be killed. so you're going to end up needing more treatments overall because you will have to get all hair treated in anagen stage...so that means waiting till this hair goes into active growing phase again, and you can't tell when that is...so you'll need to continue getting treatments even though only a small % is being killed each time for that time period. most effective treatments are those spaced 6-8 weeks apart for all 6-8 treaments.

blink888, would it be helpful to wax about 6 weeks before the 3 month delayed treatment? Would that help trigger more hairs into an active growing phase?
Answer
the jury is still out for whether that would work. i know that i waxed about 2 months prior to my first treatment on bikini and underarms and then went in when all growth was back, within maybe 3 weeks after it first showed, and had great results right away. probably 90% removal after the very first treatment. don't know many people that do that, but seems to make sense and at least for me it worked. if you really have no choice but to wait 3 months, it might be a good idea.
