Hi Can somebody tell me how good the aculight system is? I am asian fair skinned dark coarse hair and want a considerable amount of hair removal at least 50% from the back shoulders upper arms and chest. I am not to convinced on this system as i had a small test patch done and 1/2 an hour later after cooling the are with ice the area that was tested was burning like it was on fire for approx 7 mins. now i would not want to have this type of pain on say a whole back after the treatment. I also went to another clinic and had a test patch on a nd yag i think it ws called and i did not get any burning sensations at all.
please can you let us know

if you have an average or dark asian skin, you are better off with a Yag laser. You SHOULD feel sort of rubber band snapping sensation and it is somewhat painful. if you don't feel anything, it's a good sign that it's not working. you should experience some redness around the follicles for up to a day or so if treatment went well. Yag lasers do cause the least side effects usually, as they're gentler on the skin.

Hi thanks for the reply i know this maybe a dumbe question but do you think after 4 sessions there is a high probability of a 50% reduction within the areas that i want treated such as the whole of the back?

yes, you should see a considerable reduction after each treatment. every hair that was treated should shed every time.
