Ok i'm thinking about getting laser hair emoval on my upper arms but i've heard the laser treatment can cause even more hair to grow back with even more hair in some cases, is this true? and is the age you can have it done at 18?

you can get it done at any age. upper arms are some of the more difficult areas for men. best results would be with very light skin and dark coarse hair and very high settings should be used on that area especially.

some people report it. usually happens when low settings are used and tech is treating sparse single hairs with alexandrite laser. if you have a lot of coarse black hair, use a diode laser, and high settings are used, you should be ok

it's a long process. you nee 6-8 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart, so one summer won't take care of it. in addition, you skin needs to be as white as possible the entire time so that highest settings can be used without burning your skin, so tanning is now allowed. so just keep those in mind.
