I, too, have a dream...
well, it's been exactly one week since my first laser treatment and I am already seeing shedding!!! I WISH I had taken before photos, because I am sooo happy! I already have over 50% reduction in underarms and about 25% reduction in bikini area (just short stubble left, normally would be half an inch long after not shaving for a week) but I'm sure some more will shed this week, since it normally takes 2+ weeks for shedding to occur. All of the dark hairs on my abdomen/happy trail are gone, still have the finer hairs... on my chin there is a small patch about the size of a dime that is completely hair-free! I keep rubbing it because I'm not used to it feeling so smooth. A few hairs on my chin I could just slide right out, grasping them with my fingernails, I'm afraid to try with tweezers because it's been so hard to resist the urge to pluck them all for the past couple weeks. I will post another update in about a week once the shedding is completed. I am so excited! I almost cried when a few hairs on my chin just slid right out. I've been dealing with this for so long and I'm so glad it's going to be gone soon! Thanks to this site for letting me share my happiness with you all!!!! Happy MLK day! Kaitlyn

Well, it has been exactly one month since my first treatment of bikini line, happy trail, underarms, and chin. I definately saw shedding in all areas. My underarms and bikini line showed the best results. There is a little regrowth (maybe 30%) but the hairs are not prickly and coarse like they were before, just soft like baby hair... my chin is a different story, still coarse, but definately not as dense. She only used 20 joules with the alexandrite, so I'm going to ask her to 'turn it up a notch' and deal with the pain. No pain, no gain... I am definately satisfied with the results of my first treatment.. if I didn't get any other treatments done (other than chin) I feel satisfied because at least now I can shave the areas that were lasered without getting horrible red bumps everywhere. I haven't shaved my underarms or bikini line in 3 weeks, and you can't even tell unless you get really close and look. I will post again after my next treatment next week. Kaitlyn

Actually i am doing my laser for roseace and also for chin and upper lip..all for 280..it is expensive?
I am thinking to do soon the legs and maybe the bikini but I would like to ask for $

I'm in Los Angeles and pay $100 per treatment for bikini (everything around a thong and about 2 inches on top). I'm considering getting legs done and price is $125 per lower leg, so $250 for lower legs and $250 for upper legs. My doctor charges per treatment without paying up front and no commitments.

I pay by time, if it takes 15 minutes, then I pay$250... it only took 15 minutes to laser my chin, underarms, bikini, and abdomen... she did it really quickly so some spots were missed, but i saw shedding so I know it worked. the place i go to is really small and they really take the time to personalize the experience. I was more concerned with getting all the areas covered (to reduce denseness) than having a few spots missed, so she just did it as fast as she could..
