Question
Has anyone else tried Nads? That Australian gel? I did and I do NOT recommend it
It really hurt to pull off the strips and it left the hair!! All it did was turn my skin red.
Just a warning for other wanna-be hairless folks like myslef

Answer
I have to completely disagree with you on your Nad's opinion. I have used it many times. I am on my second jar. I LOVE IT!!! The hair regrows slower finer and very little incident of ingrown hairs. Won't throw mine away anytime soon. I like it much better than hot waxing.
Answer
I agree with the first post. I tried it on my upper arm and my arm was red and had left pimples for about a week after.

I guess this goes to show how different we all are. From our personalities to our looks, to our tastes and opinions... and even our skin! It's a beautiful thing, really. To the ladies who weren't pleased with the depilatory, have you given laser hair removal a try yet?
Answer
I've got just a few patches of rogue back hair and I gave "Nads" a try. Like the admin said above I suppose everyone's created different and will have different results. My experience with it was rather negative and I'm looking at other things.
I recently took up a job as a lifeguard which will be starting in about a month. I scheduled laser removal for my back hair and am looking forward to it.
The problem I scheduled the appointments for Nov. considering I'll be busy this summer.
What's a quick solution for me in the meantime? What's a product or method even I could use for doing this type of thing solo? It's something of a private thing.
Thanks
Answer
Have you tried Nair for Men? I think they have a cream and a roll-on applicator for easy use. I admit, though, that I do not have any specific reviews of this product.
I'm sure other readers have tips and personal experiences to share.
Otherwise, smart to schedule the laser hair removal treatments after the summer season, actually. Besides your job keeping you busy, it will keep you in the sun frequently. Sun exposure during laser hair removal treatments is a no-no.
Good luck! And everyone, help Trans out! Any short-time tips until November?
Answer
I'll address this for the ladies as well...
I've heard a bit about a lotion that apparently makes shaving the bikini line easier. (I can't remember the name of it exactly... Bikini Zone, maybe?) It helps with the red bumps you get in "that sensitive area," from what I understand. This doesn't help save much time, of course, but if your also looking to make it a couple months or so, like Trans, it might be a good option. A lot of women also have luck using hydrocortison 2% as an aide in shaving. You apply it post-shave... it also helps with sensitivity and razor burn.
The closest thing to a permanent solution, though, remains to be laser hair removal.

The secret to Nads is 15 seconds in the microwave. Then it smooths on easlily and you must put a thin line on. The biggest mistake I see people make, even on TV, it that no one ever seems to pull the skin taught before lettin' it rip. 15 seconds in the micorwave and taught skin make it the best product. You can get the stuff all over your bathrrom and clothes and bed and whatever and it eaisly washes off. You can rinse the strips in the sink, iron and reuse in seconds. It's good. Try it...

I've recently started using nads... and it works pretty well for me. Before that I was using Nair (that was ok) and then I changed to Veet which was utterly useless. Then I went and bought the nads gel and waxing wand...
For leg hair its amazing and bikini line is fantastic... i find that it doesnt work as well for underarms but maybe i havent let it grow long enough for it to work...
The only drawback (which is quite disappointing) is that on my bikini line there is a rather large bump. Not your usual ingrown hair because usually you can see the hair just underneath the layer of skin... this one looks like its real deep and the bump is about 5 times bigger than the usual ingrown hairs i get...
Any ideas what to do? I've put cortosone cream on it after every shower and some tissue or cotton ball to protect it from rubbing... The bump feels sort of hard but it isnt all that painful...
Answer
I found a large bump on my bikini line yesterday that is similar to the one that you described. I was able to get a hold of the ingrown hair and pull it out. It was SO LONG!!!! But, the bump hurts TREMENDOUSLY. My underwear line constantly feels like it is cutting into me. If anyone has any idea how to treat this kind of infection, please let me know ASAP... it is killing me!
Answer
I do not use nads. I have only used regular shaving in the past, and followed up with lotion. Should I be using different products?
Answer
I get those larger bumps every so often from waxing. It is just an ingrown hair, but it is usualy pretty deep, and ou may have to geta needle to work it to the surface. It will be long. The bump goes away after a day or two.

I have waxed my legs for several years now and Nads is my favorite wax. I like it because it does not need to be heated and because it is water soluble.
If it does not work for you maybe you are not used to waxing yourself. It does take practice. The first time I waxed my legs, most of the hairs did not come off and I was left with red skin.
You have to make sure you pull the strip completley and quickly. If you take your time pulling off the strip then the hairs don't come out...it just irritates you skin.
Good luck
