Answer
I recently found out that I have PCOS and I was advised by an endocronologist/dermatologist that I should not begin LHR until I begin treatment for PCOS. I was advised that it could stimulate more hair. The dermatologist that I went to refused to treat me until I began treatment. I would advise you to hold off on the LHR until you've seen a endocronologist. There is really no point wasting your money. Good luck!
Answer
The reason for not having LHR treatments before you get your PCOS under control is that you will continue to grow new hair (different that regrowth) and even though the laser is getting rid of the hair you currently have, you won't notice the difference, and you'll feel that either the laser isn't working or that it is stimulating new growth. It's money wasted until the PCOS is under control.
