Question
Ive had 7 sessions on my face (full beard) & while very pleased with the results in general, I have noticed recently some regrowth on my chin of what looks like blond hair. I have dark brown hair naturly.
This hair is a bit finer than the original but as I understand laser cannot get rid of this so there is no point in getting more treatments?
The clinic wants to give me more!
should i pay for more or spend my cash on electrolysis?
(male, 44)

Answer
I think I would go for the electolysis. Laser can't target the light color hairs whereas electrolysis can get it. It takes longer to cover the same amount of area but you know that the hairs will be done right.
Answer
electrolysis can take care of those sparse hairs pretty quickly. find a good tech. laser can't target blond hair.
Answer
Besides that, I think that you'll find electrolysis less expensive (especially for sparse hair). From my experience, electrolysis hasn't been much more uncomfortable than laser. However, in areas that are rather senstitive are more noticeable with electrolysis. If comparing, I guess that could depend on the laser settings, too. I've had some areas where I was about ready to jump out of my skin, too.
Answer
I agree, electrolysis is a much better option for thin sparse hairs, and the only option for blond. I'm also getting electrolysis on upper lip, nipple area, and now the few sparse hairs on underarms that are left after laser.
