First LHR session with LightSheer Diode Laser

Question
I am a light skinned Indian with skin type IV. I went in today to get LHR done for the first time. I'm having my legs and arms done. The technician set the LightSheer at 30 joules (I think that's what she said) and said that she may increase this by a few joules for my next treatment. I did have a prickling feeling most of the time (she did a good job making sure she covered all areas). Pretty much wherever I have hair.
My skin seems to be in pretty good shape. I do have redness on my pores and some of them have slight bumps. Is all of this a good sign?
My next treatment is in 6 weeks. My hair grows back really quickly so I think this should be okay. The hair on my legs grows back before the end of the day if I shave in the morning! My arms are a little better but I notice growth by the following day. So, question #2 is do you think 6 weeks is a sufficient interval?
Thanks to all who respond!

Answer
you shouldn't depend on general schedules for treatments. everyone's different. wait 2-3 weeks for shedding to occur. all properly treated hair should shed. then wait for new growth to come in and go for treatment once you have enough for a treatment. make sure it's within 3-4 weeks after the hair shows, because it's most vulnerable when it just comes out and most easily killed.
yes, bumps and redness around the follicles is a good sign.
