i had my second electrolysis session last week.. i'm doing it in the face (cheeks and side burns and some of the chin).
Fisrt of all my skin is very sensitive and for almost a day and a half my skin gets swollen in the areas where the hair is removed.. i also get lots of scabs in the same areas. Takes me still two weeks or more for them to dissapear..
Still there is allot of hair there to remove.. (i'm doing also laser in some areas but these hairs are thin and so electrolosys was recommended), and i asked how many sessions until i got them all out.
I got a very vague answer.. 'its about how many hours you do it, not how many sessions'.
I do 10 minutes on each side of the face.. i'm worried this will take forever. Will the hairs that were removed still grow?
How many minutes/sessions does it usually take to get rid of the hair?

it's very hard to tell you. it depends on how many hairs, if you stay on schedule, how fast your electrologist is, what method they are using, etc etc. too many factors to be able to tell you this over the internet. you should ask you electrologist but they will also have a hard time giving you an exact #. In general, it will take at least 9-12 months to clear an area if everything is done properly because of the hair cycles. hair is killed in anagen phase, so you need to catch all of them in that phase, and that takes at least 9 months.
