Hi please help me .I have checked out 3 different places (to remove hair from the bikini) and they all tell me something different . Two told me that they do the treatment once a month and one said I have to wait 2 months between treatments. One told me the treatment does not hurt and I don't need any cream or anything .The other two recommended using a numbing cream . It's all so confusing. The prices were very different too (won't go into that as I am not in the US)
does anyone know anything about the Lightsheer machine? they did me a sample test at 18 power/? is that okay? I did not feel any pain just v. cold.
Please advise.. I am desperate to start treatment but can't decide where.....[color=red][b][/color][/b]

LightSheer is a good laser for light skin (up to type IV) and dark hair. At least 25-30 joules should be used for effective results though. 18 joules won't do much and that's why you didn't feel anything. I would recommend not using a numbing cream, at least for your first treatment and see if you can handle it fine. Most people don't need the cream, especially if you're only getting that one small area done, it'll take 10 mins. Treatments for that area are usually spaced 6-8 weeks apart for the first 1-3 treatments and then 8-10 weeks apart. Basically, just come in for your following treatment after shedding has occurred and new hair shows up. Hair is best killed right when it comes out, within 3 weeks or so.
