Question
Greetings,
I'm a male in his 20s doing laser hair removal in South America. My hair grows quickly I've had a few sessions and normally within a week after a treatment, I can clearly see which hairs have grown back. The costs here for each session are extremely inexpensive in comparison to the U.S. I have about a month and a half before I need to return to the U.S. I have been contemplating between having 2 or 3 sessions before I go.
Yes, I know to get the maximum benefit out of each treatment one should generally wait a longer period of time between each session. However, since my time here is limited (and the services here are so much less expensive), would I have better overall results doing 3 sessions versus 2? I guess what I'm saying is that I am ruling out costs and strictly looking at which option would remove more hairs before I leave.
Thanks for your help!

Answer
if you find hair growth just after one week this means that the treatment is not efficient and there is no shedding.
during the remaining six weeks you can do only one treatment.

Answer
You might consider that the hair that APPEARS to be growing is the dead hair working its way out. I think it would be difficult to tell in only one week after an LHR session.
If what you are experiencing is the shedding process, then waiting the six weeks is to your benefit. I can't see any benefit in getting more sessions in that period due to the growth cycles of hair. Even though it is cheap, you are paying for nothing.
Answer
the only way to tell what hair was killed and what wasn't is to wait 2-3 weeks for dead hair to shed. within 1 week, you can't know that since at the beginning hair looks like it's growing, but it's actually dead hair coming out of the skin to shed. if you don't see any shedding within 3 weeks, then that hair wasn't affected at all. doing treatments on bare areas is worthless, still a waste of money, even if it's little money. you should only get treatments on areas where there is hair after you have allowed for sufficient time for shedding to occur.
