Waxing after laser hair removal

Question
This is just a general question, and something I am very curious about. After a person has undergone all the required laser treatments and the hair is minimalised, is is safe to wax? I don't mean in between treatments (I know hair follicles need to be present to be killed). I know for some people after laser treatments, hair still grows in that area usually much finer and sparse. I guess I would like to know if you started to wax this fine hair would it eventually grow back as coarse and thick as before begining laser treatments? Just curious. Thanks in advance to anyone who has experienced this or has any opinions.

I would be very careful about waxing anything. That is how my trouble all started....I had very fine peach fuzz on my chin and upper lip until someone made a joking comment about it and thus I became self-conscious and waxed it. Soon after, it became black and coarse - I regret that decision to this day. I'd say if you are going to spend the money on laser, don't risk ruining it all by waxing....I would be scared to death the fine, light hairs would start turning bad.
I just started my laser treatments so I'm not speaking out of personal experience after LHR, just my opinion about waxing.

Answer
waxing does cause the hair to become coarse over time since every time you pull the hair out of the root, your body sends more blood to the area to "heal". and hair feeds on this, so technically over time, if you keep pulling the hair, it will get stronger and thus more coarse. i would avoid waxing afterwards. personally, I find that although before I HAD to wax since shaving never gave me that smooth hairfree look, now that the leftover hair became so fine, shaving does a good job.
