I have a question regarding the contraceptive pill. I have been getting treatments on my chin which worked very well.. I've had about 6 in total. A few months ago I noticed it all went well and that I probably wouldnt need more than 1 treatment to go. In addition 2 months ago I stopped taking the contraceptive pill and I've now noticed these little hairs have started growing.... My question is, are the hairs there as a result of me not taking the pill anymore or are they due to the fact that the laser has been ineffective?

Birth control pills are the most common medicinal treatment to prevent new hair growth. My guess is that stopping the pill is why you are seeing new growth. Were you taking the pill for solely for birth control, or were there other reasons, such as regulating your period, etc.?

I went on the pill initially because I had painful periods and I was told the pill would help with that.
