M.D. vs technicians

Question
I live in NYC and I've been searching for a good LHR center.
I went to Romeo and juliet and Verve laser center.
Verve is more expensive but the treatment is done by a doctor and it feels safer.
In your opinion/experience is it worth it to pay more and go to a M.D?
BTW- I have light skin and dark hair. Verve is using a Diode laser and Romeo and juliet an Alexandrite
Thanks for your reply

Answer
for these procedures, having an MD really doesn't mean much. hair removal is not taught in med school. someone who has been concentrating on performing hair removal for longer and is experienced specifically in that area, no matter what their degree, is a much better option. Romeo&juliet has great reviews and the owner Christian is a moderator on another forum. I would go with them.

Answer
I am going to a physician's assistant for my laser treatments. I feel highly confident in her abilities and experience, and I doubt I would feel any more safe if I were going to an actual MD. The best thing I can tell you is to go with your gut and do your research....usually that won't lead you in the wrong direction.

Answer
I have actually gone to 2 MDs, but I still don't feel they are as knowledgeable as some techs with lots of hair removal experience are.
