Can anyone please tell me whether Soft Laser is an effective hair removal system, I have read conflicting reports that it has been proven to only be temporary and that claiming to be permanent has had there " ass's" sued a few times....

If you are referring to the Softlight Laser ( a Q-Switched Nd:YAG) it is good for temporary hair loss but produces little permenent loss per treatment. It is essentially the same as Naturalase or the Medlite 4. These were designed for tatoo removal.
For permanent hair removal, stick to long pulsed Nd:YAG's like th CoolGLide or the SmartEpil, Acclaim, or Lyra.
