What part of upper lip hair removal are you wondering about? Search this board for upper lip experiences. There are TONS, and chances are your questions have already been answered.
If you have new questions, ask them clearly. Asking ppl to "advise on upper lip hair removal" is way too vague.

sorry i actually meant what lasers or IPL have people had positive experience of when removing downy (NOT COARSE) from the upper lip. im very new to this!

I think that it's most important to use a laser that is best for your skin type rather then basing it on the laser that has successfully removed hair. In my case I have naturally dark hair and light skin and had successful hair removal on my upper lip using the Candela GentleLASE.

fine hair will be harder to remove than coarse hair. if you have light skin, alexandrite would work best. but make sure you really have enough hair there for laser. if it's not a lot of hair, eletrolysis is better on fine hair since laser won't necessarily work if it's too fine.
