Is this supposed to happen?!

Question
I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or if this is normal. I had Lightsheer LHR done on my bikini area and full leg 6 days ago in a dermatologist office. I have dark course hair from my bikini down to my toes. I was told my hair would fall out in about a week, but my hair is growing like normal. She wiped some hairs away during the process, but that's it. I was told my foliculitis problem would be cleared up by the LHR, but the opposite has occured...so far it's worse then when I wax! I haven't called her yet to express my concern because I wanted to ask you guys first. What do you think? I feel like I spent $550 for the same amount of growing hair and more bumps!

Answer
bumps are good after laser. that means the follicles were affected. shedding takes 2-3 weeks for most people, so it is too early to judge. just use aloe for now to soothe the skin and wait 2-3 weeks. exfoliate in the shower for the process to be a bit faster. hair is not growing, it is coming out of the skin to eventually shed. patience is key

Answer
Thanks, Blink. I guess I'm a little anxious to see some results. What sould I exfoliate with?

Answer
just gently rub the area in the shower when your pores are open with a loofa. that should be enough.
