Question
I had to change my appt last wednesday to next wednesday because i was running late...and they only do botox one day a week...thanks for the quick response! I'm getting the forehead and between the eyebrows done...is the droopy eye side effect only for the crowsfeet area or any of the procedures. My boyfriend who is a cardiologist/internal medicine physician has had it done and had great results from the physician I will see, however he would never consider doing the procedure himself(although he could order it from allergan)because he is not trained in that area.

Answer
I had my forehead, between my eyes and at the corner of my eyes done and I got the droopy eyes (mainly in one eye). I think it was from the forehead but I can't be sure. I stayed upright for 6 hours and it still didn't help it not to migrate. My droopy eye still isn't completely gone but it's better and has been that way for 6 weeks! What's so depressing is besides looking terrible, this only lasts for about 3 months and I just lost out on over a month of that after paying all that money too. It's not worth the risk to me.
Answer
I had ONLY the frown lines between my brows done, and I got severe droop in one eye. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the migration to the eye that causes droop happens most frequently from getting the Botox between the eyebrows like I did.
Answer
I'm getting very scared now I wonder if it has to do with the doctor injecting too much or not diluting it properly...I go in tomorrow it's 2:52am and I'm freaking out at this point
Answer
I believe it is not so much the dilution of the botox, but rather the location of the injection. Just a tad too close to the nerve will result in the droop, and it's pretty much a guessing game on the doctor's part. Too bad there's no big red x that says "Inject Here." I will not do it again, because like the previous poster said, I am losing so much time of "looking good" due to a drooping eye. This makes me even more self conscious than the lines did. The frown lines are almost gone...which makes this all the more frustrating. Even though the botox was successful in erasing those lines, I still feel like I wasted my money.
