Question
Well i've been noticing my chest hair growing rapidly in the past few weeks/month...
I'm not that old, but not young either, and the hairs are still growing out. Would anyone suggest Laser removal to remove these hair for good?
If so, how long does it normally take to complete the whole chest and how expensive is it?

Answer
are you male or female? how much hair do you have? how old are you? what is your skin and hair color? it's nearly impossible to give you accurate information without all this provided.
Answer
Not a lot of hair, but enough to be seen
I'm around 20 years old. Have light skin and black hair.
Answer
coarse hair on very light skin gets the best results. man's chest can cost $250-500 per treatment, depending on how much hair you have, location of the clinic, and also varies by clinic. you will need at least 6-8 treatments spaced 6-10 weeks apart to get desirable results. for light skin, alexandrite or diode lasers work best. finding a knowledgeable technician is most important. If you have a lot of fine hair, it will be harder and will take longer on eleminate them. Also, most men usually need touch-up treatments 1-2 times per year after the initial 6-8. and if you're still developing hair, you will probably see more as it comes even after you remove the hair that's currently there.
Answer
How long do you have to get these touch up treatment? For life? If you don't get them will your hair grow back to what it was like originally or will it grow back less and finer?
Answer
touch-up treatments are hypothetically for new hair that you will be developing over the years. a lot of people grow more hair as they age. the hair that you kill now with laser technically shouldn't come back. of course, results vary for everyone. i wouldn't go into this with expectations that you will be 100% hairfree after 6 treatments. Personally, I am happy with 80-90%, but if you would only be willing to pay for laser treatments if it's guaranteed that you will be 100% hairfree, you probably don't want to commit to this. After a while on larger areas, you will probably experience diminishing results anyways as the hair that will be left will be fine and thin, so it would be difficult for laser to target it. A lot of people get laser and finish off with electrolysis at that point as well.
Answer
When you say 80 - 90% reduction, does that mean every single hair is 90% smaller or does it mean that 90% of all hairs have been completely removed. Eg the hairs on my shoulder are around 3cm long, does that mean after treatment each will be around 3mm or does it mean that some of them will be completely gone?
Answer
No, I am talking about complete removal.
