Question
Thanks for the replies to my previous questions.
According to one reply, I shouldn't feel ANY heat. If this is true then I have definitely had my last treatment with Lightsheer. I will make arrangements to have future treatments performed with YAG.
Status: It has been 2 days now since my first treatment.
Is any YAG laser ok, or are there better brands?
Is my face reacting as it should? Still some mild heat, redness, and numerous little white bumps all over face, mostly chin and neck (which is where she used the highest setting of 20).
Any additional info welcome. Thanks.
Brian, R.N.
P.S. Big Thanks to blink888, who responds to many posts.

Ya, the little white bumps are no big deal. Lots of ppl report these after facial LHR. Clogged follicles/hairs, type thing. They go away. I had one on my bikini line, and of course I picked at it, and there was a hair inside that just slid out.
There are a few YAGs that most clinics use. Any of these are fine. (ND, Candela Gentle, etc).
I think it's ridiculous that you feel heat 2 days after your treatment. Granted I am fair-skinned, but when I get LHR done, I feel no heat whatsoever, and redness is gone within the HOUR. You should not have ANY heat, nor any prolonged redness or swelling. You'll notice the difference when you switch to a YAG laser, specifically designed for your skin type.

Thank you for the reply. I do appreciate the info. I have decided, without difficulty, to switch to the YAG laser. The most bothersome side effect right now is the dry skin & white bumps on my face. Hopefully this will go away soon, because I normally have great skin (no bumps, lumps or scars, etc.). Thanks again.
