After Hair removal

Question
Hi!
I am off on holiday in about 2 1/2 weeks. I was hoping to get my first LHR on my bikini area before I leave. After doing a little research I am aware that the hair doen't fall off for about two weeks after treatment. I am worried that I will want to be on the beach in my bathing suit with hair still on y bikini line. When the hair sheds will it all be gone? if it isn't can I remove it by other means?
Is it a bad idea to sun tan after getting LHR?
Would I be better off to wait until my holiday is over?
Any advice?
Thanks!

Answer
you can shave during the time you are waiting for the hair to shed, but it is not advisable for you to start this now since
1. you need 5-6 treatments for desirable results
2. you need to have the area as pale as possible during all 5-6 treatments, so in between tanning is not advisable because it can cause laser to burn your skin, not to mention you won't get as good of results since lower settings will have to be used to avoid burning.
3. not all hair in the area will necessarily shed after your first treatment and not exactly in 2 weeks. you don't know what the results will be on you until you try it
4. you should spend a bit of time researching laser hair removal for the best laser, clinic, etc in your area to do this as this is an expensive procedure and there are slight risks involved if you encounter an unexperienced tech
