Hi all,
I am south Indian with a skin type 4. I have black, thick hair on my chin and upper lips. When wax or thread my hair, my hair grows back very fast. I am thinking of getting LHR done. With my skin type, what types of lasers work best for me? I have already looked into two places who do the LHR near where I live.
1. Diva Aesthetic Medical, Westminister, CA
2. Image RX - Long beach, CA - They use light Sheer diode.
Does anyone have any experience with the above mentioned clinics? Please let me know if you know of any other clinics which are good in this area.
I plan to start the treatments sometime in Sept 2005.

lightsheer is a diode and can only be used on your skin type by a very good professional since if settings are not right, it can cause burns. if you think you're any darker than a type 4, look for a Yag laser that's made for darker skin types.

i don't unfortunately. i am in los angeles and use an alexandrite. you need to find a Yag laser.
