Answer
You will be frustrated using a home electrolysis unit. I would not recommend you do electrolysis on yourself. You need perfect insertions at the right depth and you can't judge proper insertions well if you do it yourself. Even if you get an electrolysis buddy to help you, it still isn't easy.
Go to pro for your face as I would hate to see you permanently scar yourself as you strive to permanently remove the hair. That's what could easily happen to you. Removing a stubborn man -hair is not that easy. Save and pay the money for a professional treatment, but do get those consults so you choose the right practitioner that can get you cleared in a reasonable amount of time (9-12months) depending on your hair density.
Pain is personal. Yes, you will have discomfort, after all, we need to destroy tissue that makes the hair grow. It should be made tolerable for you while still getting that hair to slide out. This can be accomplished if you find a professional that knows his/her stuff.

Answer
This is a scam item sold in Europe. Save your hard earned money. These are transdermal patches and is there is no proof that they remove hair permanently. These patches have been around since the early 1990's and there are many , many stories from dissatified consumers who have been scammed and cannot get their money back.
The only proven way to permanently remove hair is to insert a probe down to the bottom of the follicle and destroy/damage that follicle with X amount of energy. This is called electrolysis and it's been around for 130+++ years. It is tried and and it is true. It is the gold standard.
Ricky, please be good to yourself and do your research before you let your hopes rise and your money leave your wallet. If you have money to waste, you can use it for a better cause like charities or send it to me for my kid's college education fund. Seriously now, be skeptical of this product and do your research. There are all kinds of consumer stories on the internet about these patches.

Answer
i dont really care if it doesnt remove the hair permanantly but id like it to grow back much finer than it already is, do you think this product will help??? or is there any other method which will be able to do that?

Answer

No matter how much gel you slather on hair, it can't conduct a current. These gizmos have been around for decades. The FDA shuts one down, and they come back under a different name.

Answer
LE is absoutely correct, ricky. We can't seem to drive a stake through the heart of these demon devices that rip vulnerable people off. If you already purchased this device, don't count on getting your money back. they ususally delay, delay, delay until you give up.
You have two choices for what you what to accomplish:
1. Electolysis can pinpoint only the coarse hairs and leave the finer ones alone so shaving will be easier.
2. You can try laser and perhaps you'll be a successful candidate left with finer, lighter hair. You may also be left looking patchy with some areas bare and some hairy.
There is no easy way down for tough hair, especially man hair in 2005.
However, through electrolysis (and maybe laser), you can reach the goal that you desire if you exercise patience and find good practitioners.
