Question
Hi to Everyone,
After just reading Spicey's disturbing only one missing these stories just because Ive time to check only the one Board.
What's ironic is that the main problem I had after surgery, April 6, was my EYE--so, you'd think I'd have scoured the Eye Board. But I didn't!! I had orginally met some wonderful people on the Facelift Board...so I stayed there. Even with the eye problem. And....I'm not the only one. I've noticed that many of us "eye people" have also done that...zeroed in and stayed on the Facelift Board. We've gotten caught up with one Board to the exclusion of the others.
So--having only just discovered Spicey's thread--weeks after she started it--I thought I'd suggest that from now on, those of us with eye problems (or other similar problems arising from a facelift) start "cross-posting" on both the Board concerning their specific issue PLUS the more general "Facelift Board". It's amazing how many of us forget or don't have enough time to check both places. And, right now, I can already think, offhand, of four of us currently experiencing eye problems, who post predominantly on the Facelift Board!
This means that we may not only miss informative and supportive advice--but our own experiences--and what we learn from them--are limited to those on only that one Board. While I, unfortunately, have no specific advice for Spicey and others on that thread, who share her problem--I certainly would have offered my support and mentioned my own (relatively minor) experience.
Looking thru' the Eye Board, just now, I'm amazed how many wonderful people I haven't met, yet, just because I've been concentrating on answering all my old "Facelift Board" pals....and have not had the time to check the other Boards, as well.
Even if we don't doublepost our messages, perhaps, when we write about an issue ,that, say, the general Facelift Board people might not see, we could just add a quick message to that Board we're not posting on: "Please, all "eye" people, note my topic on the Eye (or other) Board.
That way, no one would miss something that may be helpful on BOTH Boards. I know it's kinda "labor intensive"--but I felt really bad, when I realized that I'd missed Spicey's post. And, I also wonder.... if some of us, on the general Facelift Board, might realize that we have some info. that could help her. Right now, I notice that we've got a lot of eye "problems" on that general Facelift Board.
Anyway...just a thought. I think that so many of us tend to head straight to "Facelift", when we first come to the MMH message boards....whether we're focused on eyes, all the posts that might help them. (Having said this--I will be the first person to forget--and NOT cross-post!!!)

Answer
Hi Lynn, your right of course about checking out the other boards. My problem is that by the time I'm done with facelift board I'm to tired to go to another board and as you know, I have a hard time keeping track of where I am here !!! I really spend so much time here, it's amazing how time flies . Last night after our conversation I did google in "Dry-/mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>eye message board" and guess what many, many of the responses were? Our discussion right here on make me heal! Some of the people did recommend TheraTears and I got some gel and it has helped soothe. I think I'll read about the bad /mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>bleph now if I have the courage.
