Question
As Alice and I have to leave for the airport at 3:30 am tomorrow, we are now headed to bed to catch a few zzzzs--before we are awoken at 2 am to stagger up and finish packing! Makes me think of that song from "Chorus Line"--"What I Did for Love"!
Anyway, goils....we shall really miss you all very, very much!! I am hoping that maybe the hotel will have some sort of internet place, where you can rent some time on the computer. (I don't have a laptop.)
We'll be staying at a very pretty village called Snowmass, which is about 15 munutes shuttle ride from Aspen. Snowmass has 4 mountains to ski--and is my idea of heaven! From giant bowls to winding forest trails, you just can't keep up with all the runs. But I sure like to TRY!!
And--being the dedicated foodie that I am--I must admit that Snowmass has some very fine dining delights--even right on top of the mountain. So....you can often find Alice and I, at about 10:45 a.m....'queuing" up for lunchtime reservations!!
I have a feeling that I'm going to miss some really lively, great--and--dare I say--"entertaining" --threads while I'm gone! So....I'll look forward to doing all the catching up when I get back--Jan 22.
Meantime, hope you all have a great couple of weeks with lots of good and positive things going on!

I have friends skiing in Vail right now. Yesterday it was a high of 9 degrees but I believe it's warmed up some. She said the snow has been the best that it's ever been since they've been going there over all the years. Her knee has been bothering her and so when the guys are out skiing she calls me out of boredom She and I certainly agreed that if she wanted to stay out of the hospital concerning her knees, then it's best we just gab on the phone while the boys ski. And we also agreed that the hospitals we want to be in are for "unnecessary" surgeries. Yes, she is one of us!!
You two snow bunnies have a great time on your trip and we will all be here waiting for your return!~Prissy~

Sounds like you will be having a fabulous time. I don't ski, but would love to see some beautiful scenery and experience real winter weather without having to shovel anything. Have a wonderful, wonderful time. You will be missed.Age: 59
