Question
in Please did anyone else get this. I am sooo upset. I have just tried to get to sleep (UK) but after being tearful (upset), I have got out of bed and come on site. I just cant stop the tightness across my forhead and eye area. It feels awful. I cant close my eyes without forcing them shut. I cant relax this area at all. I feel as if I need a full bottle of wine to take away the discomfort. Oh god , what have I done.
Nobody seems to write about this problem. Does anybody feel the same way. Please help me. Off to try some panadol to see if it will take this off.

Hey, are you ok out there? It sounds like you're having a bit of a nightime panic attack.. it's ok,,, make yourself some tea, wrap up in a blanket and watch some TV... this panicky scared feeling will pass, I KNOW it.. I've lived thru so many of them since my /mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>eye surgery. I do remember my eyes being so tight for weeks - even up to a year after surgery... what helps is to pamper yourself as much as possible. Put a cool or warm washcloth over your eyes...
Have you been happy w/your eyes overall? Is this tightness constant? If it is something that feels unbearable, then call your doctor. I don't care if it's a weekend, just call his service so he can talk to you about your concerns.. Beleive me, they get plenty of calls and it's all part of the package of services.

Today is 18 days post op for me, U and L lid, outside cut and cantho.
I too feel the tension on my eyelids U and L, across, headaches and the corner of my eyes, feeling tight. My eye lids still feel tender, it hurts when I laugh or sneeze or blow my /mmh/product/rhinoplasty/index.vm?procid=10" target=_blank>nose. The hurt feels like you've been kicked in the shin. I'm just curious as to how it could feel like a bone type of pain.
Panadol did not work for me, my Dr gave me Panadine.
