$4$ more days Getting face lift & boobs

Question
1st post. Is there anything that I should do these last three days.
Does anyone have any regreats? Thanks Deb

Answer
HI Deb, the only regret I have has been mentioned isn previous posts ie I wish I had know to go into more depth with the PS prior to FL, emphasizing to him to make sure he pulled the lower face tightly. Results were good but a bit disappointing. I didn't expect to feel that way. Surf

OK - I will make sure to remind the PS what exactly it is that I want to accomplish with this facelift. After all I haven't talked to him about it in over 1 month. What feeling are you expierencing? . Is it that the surgeon wasn't aggressive enough with the lower part of your face.I'm so sorry that must be very depressing But I'm sure that you look more beautiful than before the surgery YEAH! Have you talked to the surgeon and told him how you feel. What is his reply? Are you a smoker?
That's what I'm worried about, what if I come out of there and hate what they did to me. My son is in the Navy and is on a 6mo. deployment and I
want to look great when he sees me.So I have 4 mo. to get myself together. I know that my healing process will be slow because I'm DIABETIC. Especially to pay so much money and not be happy. Thanx Deb

Answer
Since you are a diabetic, just try to do everything you can to keep your BS in really good control, because as you know, wound healing can sometimes be precarious in diabetics.
Start right now eating as healthy as you possibly can, and I wouldn't eat many carbs at all. You need a lot of protien for healing anyway. Any carbs you eat, I would make them fresh veggies and not much fruit. Are you also taking some good quality vitamins? I'm assuming you don't SMOKE, right?
I may be preaching to the choir here, but since you are a diabetic, you know what I mean.
Good luck with the surgery.

Hiya Deb
4 or 3 more days! Have you got your nest ready? Have you got lots of ice in the freezer? Since you are diabetic, can you take arnica montana and /mmh/product/vitamins_supplements/bromelain/index.vm?procid=44&catid=635" target=_blank>bromelain? I don't know the contraindications for /mmh/product/compression_stocking/diabetic/index.vm?procid=28&catid=1041" target=_blank>diabetes. I assume you are up on all that stuff. If you will be slow healing, remember that - the rewards will come - take extra care of yourself and rest before and after!
You are having a lot done - FL and boobs. I hear the boobs can be painful. I wouldn't know about boobs but I can tell you that I only took 2 paracetamol after my FL & U and L Bleph. There is no pain - it's more like discomfort. You do look like you've been through a war but it's not as bad as it looks.
I have absolutely no regrets! I'm extremely happy with my outcomes - I look way, way better than I did pre surgery. I feel fantastic too!!!
all the best!

Hi Rose - Well my mom had her boobs done 2 wks. ago and only took 2 pain pills. Then last week my sister had her boobs done and had me take her shopping at Wal-mart the next day. But she only took 2 pain pills too. Maybe there was some competition there. They both also had lifts and I'm getting implants. The Dr. said he's not worried about me being out for 7 hrs. they will monitor my B/S closely. His main concern is healing. So if anyone has great healing ideas i would love to hear them. I do have the arncia montana .But, I don't know what Bromelain is. Thanks Deb
