Hi everyone,
Three weeks ago today I was having my surgery. After the normal ups and downs of "why did I do this!" I am feeling much better and I am able to look at the good I got from this surgery. Mostly I wanted to be rid of the jowls and the loose neck NOT looking!!!
You asked me about my neck.....mine never felt tight or strange at all....which is too bad, because it seems the tighter they're pulled--the longer they last!!!
Thanks for the kind words about the pix of my sister and I on our photo site. We were very happy with our surgeon.
By the way, I must apologize for being a busy-body--but I just had to sneak a look at your Jackson Hole pix, as I've skied there and toured around a bit and found it so beautiful. A friend of ours, who owned a ski travel bureau, lives there...and loves it! Anyway--your pictures are absolutely gorgeous---very imaginatively--and professionally--shot, and I really enjoyed the chance to reacquaint myself with that part of Wyoming! So--hope you don't mind that I called them up!

Thanks to everyone for all the positive comments about my before and after pictures. You made me feel like I am on the right track.
To Twin L: I don't mind that you had a look at my Wyoming pictures. I just love being in the mountains this time of the year. In /directory/search.php" target=_blank>Texas we do not get a beautiful fall like some of the states so my husband and I usually go somewhere in the Rockies to enjoy all the colors.

I am new to this board and am so happy to have found your posts!! I am about 10 days behind you. My surgery was September 28 so I am at my two week mark today. (facelift including midface, necklift & /mmh/product/liposuction/index.vm?procid=9" target=_blank>lipo, u/l /mmh/product/eyelidsurgery/index.vm?procid=6" target=_blank>bleph and brow rejuvination)

Could you send me your password ? I'm almost at the 2 week mark and I could use your photos to give me some hope. I can't believe I have to wait 3-4 mos for my smile to return. That info was not included in my brochure

I had a ffl and Brow Lift on September 25th. You are right they don't tell you everything before this surgery. I have found out through the school of hard knocks. I wake up everyday hoping to feel a little less numbness and the process is so slow I wonder if it is improving. I feel my face the next day and maybe a small fractional part of it has loosen up a little. I still don't have my smile and I have lost my dimples But I will trade a dimple any day for the turkey gobbler I had from losing 60 pounds this past year. So I'm happy. They tell you two weeks is the recovery time. That really is a lie. I couldn't bend forward at two weeks.It seemed everything I picked up would fall out of my hands on to the floor. I have learned to use my toes pretty good in picking things up off the floor. and my legs are gettin a great work out with the squats I have learned to do in order to get something on the floor. YAY my legs are too skinny they need it
