Question
If ever someone has the worst luck ever, its me
i went to the topest oculoplastic surgeon in the country, paid a fortune, and ended up now with results that are FAR from beeing satisfactory
i know that the aim of a revision is improvment and not perfection and im not asking for perfection but when u end up asymetric, /mmh/product/scar_reduction/index.vm?procid=42" target=_blank>scarred and hollowed after a revision, i dont think u can be any near happy
conclusion? i need a 2nd revision....im going with the same dr cause he's the best in north america but my eyes are not helping appaerently....i just hope that he will agree having revision again on 23 weeks post-op, its my only time off....its gona be complicated to try evening out both eyes cause now i have more troubles than before...lets see if he can handle this.. what do u guys think. is 23 weeks post-op enough? can anyone suggest anything for me? please HELPPPPPPP
Answer
Hi Erica1979 !
Sorry to hear about your bad revision. Can I ask you what was wrong with your eyes when you plunged into revision? Also who was your Dr, just the first letter, I might guess. As far as assymetry is concerned I beleive 23 weeks is still early, they still might even out. What he is going to do about hollowness? As for /mmh/product/scar_reduction/index.vm?procid=42" target=_blank>scars, I am 17 months post op and still have visible scarring, I do not see how they could fix it, except probably laser. I would wait a little longer, if I were you. Anyways, good luck to you what ever you decide to do.Unfortunately a lot of us in the same boat.

Hey natasha, i am 5 months and a half post-op right now, wich is about 21 weeks. But i have some time off the end of the month so i was hoping to have a revision. My dr has a very good record of publications and is very well known in revisions. he was recmmended to me by my PS and i drive hours to Florida for this, but i guess things didnt work well for me so far on the 1st time. i am hopefull it will on the 2nd time. Time will tell. I am happy to find this forum, it is so helpfull to talk to people and get advises. Do you think i should look elswhere for my 2nd revision? but i mean dr P. is an excellent dr and he knows what kind of work he did thats why i would rather go with the same dr. What do you think? any other Dr to suggest? Thank you
