Question
Hi- did you have a canthoplasty/canthopexy ? If you did, this is to slant the eyes. I have heard different things about when the slant starts relaxing - anything from 2 weeks to 3 months. I'm at 2 and 1/2 weeks post op and mine hasn't relaxed yet.
I think its possible to relax/reverse a canthoplasty/canthopexy but you should wait at least 6-12 months for a revision. Hopefully by then it will have relaxed to a level you like and you won't need to pursue this. I would imagine you need to correct this via incisions.
Good luck- mine are not only slanted, they are assymetrical. I'm just waiting to see how they go when they relax.

Answer
yyyHi- I didn't have laser surgery. I did have bruising and one stubborn bruise under my right eye that didn't disappear until after Day 14.
I was taking Sin Ecc Arnica Montana and that was not doing much for the bruising or swelling. My upper lids are still slightly swollen I think. I am also icing once a day, though I think the bruise went away naturally, and this is more for the swelling. I think ice has limited affect after the first few days, but I feel I need to do something!!
Does the area where you got the tendon tightened feel tight and uncomfortable?
I'm sorry I can't give you any advice for your bruise- I'm still hiding out 2 and 1/2 week post op!! Good luck

Answer
yyyMy eye area at the outer corners still feel tight from my canthoplasty. Maybe its normal. I'm not exactly sure what you had done with the tendons etc, but please go and find out ,and get a second opinion on whether its safe to re-operate within 3-4 weeks. I'm not sure if removing the stitches counts as revision surgery but people on this forum recommend waiting 6-12 months before a revision. It wouldn't hurt to ask another /directory/index.php" target=_blank>doctor before undergoing this. Good luck
