Answer
That sounds awful Hope you get through this hoop, and start to feel better. Make sure that your mom takes good care of you Is it too soon to start walking that far? When is it ok to start doing things like that? GOOD LUCK! JEN

Answer
I hope today's a better day. Your body has been through quite an ordeal and it will take some time to recoup. Maybe you should walk a shorter distance. I know I was very worn out the first two weeks.

I walked around only once today, pretty slow since it isn't the easiest to do. Amazing how fatigue can just sink in this bad. I don't want clots, that freaks me out so I try to get up and walk in the morning and then around the house during the day.
Today I am not to feverish, the headache will not go away though. The shower wasn't that bad but it totally tired me out. I am sure as the days go by I will get more energy.View My Photo Album Here

Answer
vanessavy,
I know exactly what you are going through. I'm 26 days po and still become fatigued very easily. PS still has me on very limited activities. My last visit, Thursday, he has allowed me to ride around in the car. I'm excited, I can see what has gone on around town this weekend. ABSOLUTELY !!!!! no exercise. I can take in a movie, sit outside around the pool, or anything that doesn't creat much exertion.
As for appetite, I lost mine completely for any cooked food. The smell of food nauseated me. I could tolerated cold food like, fruit, ice View My Photo Album Here

Antibiotics are killing your appetite, I wouldn't worry about it. We were done about the same time so I understand the ups and downs. I still have drains and that's a major bummer. Pain meds make me feel weird but, like you, weird is better than pain. Let's get through this together and laugh about it later. Hang in there

Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad! I think maybe you were walking too much for just being a few days post op. I agree.. walking is inportant so you don't get clots (I would get up almost hourly during the day and walk around the house). I was easily extremely fatigued (still am). I think our bodies use up that energy to heal.
As for appetite.. have none still. 8 days post op. I now do have the feeling of hunger.. but only want to eat small amounts and not much is appealing. I am sure appetite will return. Enjoying it's absence right now. The NEW me born on 6/22/2006- BR/BL and Lipo to u/l abs, flanks and hips

Answer
You know, even when I was a few weeks post op, I would get real tired just doing normal things like walking at work or pushing a chair in under a table (heavy library chairs).
My PS said do nothing to get your heart rate up for a month...and boy was he right on that one. Walking the steps and vacuuming had to wait for a while!
