Question
Hi everyone! My surgery was done Tuesday AM and I think I'm doing really well. I had the "lollipop" incision. As for size, when my surgeon came in that morning to mark me, she said that she knows I'd like to go for a C cup but she just wanted to let me know that she can't guarentee cup size and that her main objective is to leave me with a "pretty round breast" and that it may be closer to a D. I was disappointed at first when she said that, but then remembered that she is the expert!!
Yesterday was my first whole day home and I felt really good. Very sore of course but over all felt better than I expected. I was able to take off the ace bandages which felt GREAT and put on my Bestform Walmart Bra. It was wonderful!!! My left breast is significantly larger than my right one right now but I hope it will even out. I am definitely still very swollen.
This morning I took my first shower and that was definitely challenging with the tubes and all. It felt so good though. I am really ready to get rid of the tubes though.
That's all for now. THanks for everyone's encouragement! I just keep reminding myself that each day should be better than the day before.
