Question
Talk about your Happy Surgeries
I went in on Wednesday morning -- surgery started at 8:45 and over at 10:15. I had drains, spent the night at the hospital, they took the drains out today (Thursday) and discharged me. I'm home now resting.
I feel awesome. Of course a little sore, but nothing like I expected. PS took out 2#s per boob == 4 whole pounds. !! I didn't think I had that much there. I was 38DD maybe a third "D" on that ... think I will be a small C.
Only pain meds I took was right after surgery.
The one thing I cannot wait to do is have my mother over later today and let her pick up 4 pounds of butter. Then I will tell her that's how much was removed.
I will confirm ... THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE FOR MYSELF!!
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all you ladies that have inspired me. For those of you who are thinking about it, I would highly recommend it. Someone said on this board that if you think you need it, you probably do! Tons of truth to that!

I'm so glad everything is going well for you Anne, I know exactly how you feel. I had my op 9 weeks ago and I had 1.1/2lbs taken out of each breast, taking me from a 34E/F to a 34 full C. It really is the best thing I ever did for myself, and I can't even walk past a shop window without stopping to marvel at my new shape! All you ladies out there who are agonising over whether or not to have it done, the lady is right...if you think you need a BR, you most certainly do!!!!!! Go for it Girls!!!!!!!!!!

Answer
Congrats! I had 3 pounds removed (almost fell out of the chair when he told me it was that much). I keep wondering why I waited so long to have this done too, my new bod is amazing! I just keep thinking about how in the summer I won't have those 'sweat smilies' on my shirt under my boobs (ok maybe I just shared too much )

It's always a pleasure to read of happy girls with successful stories.
The whole thing has been a total breeze for me too. I'm now 2 months p/o and it's as if I've always owned a pert rack. To think I was a 34G and wearing size 14/16 tops now I'm in 8/10 and for the first time I can wear the same size in pants and tops.
All those thinking of a B/R remember for every one horror story you read here there are 100 of us that are just delighted
